The Retail Workshops

Each day at HUB, Thierry Bayle from Management One will present a series of specialist free seminars. Thierry has 20 years assisting independent retailers on their two greatest assets - stock, and people, and is an expert on improving cash flow and profits and getting customers into stores. Thierry
Extreme Soul Business will be running a series of panel discussions about the trends and innovations in their field. They will provide an insight into how various aspects of the industry are progressing and provide an open forum for debate and discussion by encouraging questions and answers from the audience. The art and science of buying - how to forecast sales at 90% accuracy:

The owner / buyer knows what to buy, what is more difficult is the science, or how much, and when to bring it in. Designed to increase sales and minimise discounts, this workshop includes:

  • Why you need to analyse by product type and not by brand
  • How to improve profitability
  • How to minimise discounts and markdowns
  • Ho to improve cash flow and profitability
  • How to identify new marketing or promotional ideas
